Same here....'99 Viggen with the exact problems. Replaced the MAF and all problems solved!!! (except now i have gotten a check engine light twice and need to look into further...might be the SMBC needing adjustment) I hope i caught it early enough if it is the culprit of the "piston failure" problem. At worst, my Viggen is running GREAT right now.
