My tank was between 1/4 and 1/2 and I filled up with 93. My commute is about 45 miles each way. Drove home with the CEL on and the car was begining to run better. This morning the light was off and the surging is gone. Full boost is back and power is smooth. I have never seen a car react so much to fuel... This has been the problem I've been describing for months. The 89 I usually run is too borderline. I think it is an amazing feature of the Saab and I now fully believe and understand that fuel choice is directly related to drivability and fun factor. Thanks, C.
