My 99 viggen tramlined terriblely when I first got it, despite having a viggen rescue kit. Bumpimg up the pressure helped a bit, but then you risk burning up the center of the tires even worse (my viggen eats front tires). When I got the car, the previous owner had recently installed 17 x 8" rims with 235-40-17 Pirelli P-Zero Rossos. I was happy to learn the trasmlining disappeared, along with the power-on "torque-steer", when I installed the stock rims with snows the first winter. Last fall I replaced the tattered pirellis with 225-45-17 Falken Azenis sports, still no tramlining. So I'd say it's probably the tires, bummer because the S-03s are sweet tires.
