My 5000 mile '04 SS oil is also dark in color. I changed oil/filter at 4000. My driving conditions are also stop and go city driving. The color seems unusually dark. Is this normal? By comparison, the oil in my '99 Mustang GT (60K+ miles) hasn't been changed since November but the oil resembles the clear honey color.
