Calling you from the heart of the UK
I Bought a used 9-3 Viggen Conv from a main dealer about 12 weeks ago under Saab Approved Used Car Scheme. Love the car but got so irritated by the cars handling shortcomings that I booked it in to Abbott Racing to have their 'Viggen Rescue Kit' suspension mods fitted. Amazing results - everyone should do it!! BUT......in the process they noticed that all 4 alloys (standard Saab 17" 5 spoke) are buckled and have significant run out. My info is that this is common and at one point Saab in USA even acknowledged the problem. Does anyone know about this issue? Does anyone have evidence of Saab acknowledging it? Has anyone else had this experience? What are my prospects of getting any joy from the main dealer under the warranty (bought the car 12 weeks ago remember)? All info and advice on how to go about it greatly appreciated.
Please reply to this forum or directly to me on richardw@ebpm.co.uk.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Richard
