I知 looking to buy a car for myself and basically my dilemma is that I really like a 2001 9-3 T HB with AT with 43K that is a lease return from a dealer. I知 torn between that and getting a practical boring car (Honda, Toyota). My hesitation is about the reliability of the vehicles.
I知 trying to get a sense of which maintenance troubles are typical for this type of car and how much they cost. About how much would you say you pay per year to fix things? At about how many miles do what problems start?
Since this car a lease return, would the dealer have maintenance records or no?
I知 definitely going to have a mechanic check this car before I would consider making an offer, however, before that, I want to know what to expect in terms of car troubles. I知 trying to weigh that against the benefits of a cute, fun car with bells and whistles.
