Need opinions on CEL and IAC valve...

I was getting an intermittent check engine light. I had the codes (3) pulled at Autozone. 2 codes were for a bad O2 sensor and the third was for the intake air temp sensor. I cleaned my IAC valve in an attemp to solve a periodic hesitation problem. I have not seen a CEL since. Theory: the sticking IAC valve was causing the engine to run rich which in turn was triggering the O2 sensor alarm. I did the TBTC smoothing around the same time and may not have reconnected the temp sensor correctly. Anyone care to confirm/deny/shoot holes in my theory? The hesitation problem is completely gone.
Thanks. 1997 900 SET w/82k
