Hold up, if you're in Tampa DO NOT GO TO Scott Saab, they jack the prices up on all there parts services everything. A good shop is J.P imports, its in clearwater but its a good shop and worth the drive. also a used saab cd changer is not a waste of money even if it wasnt divorced. All you need is the VIN# from the car it was taken from. So you can pickup a used radio from a junkyard or even check http://www.car-part.com you'll prolly spend $150 or so for a radio and they should give you the VIN number of the car it was taken from ( i think its even inscribed on the side of all saab radios). Now here the tricky part, you're going to have to go to an indy saab shop, Scott Saab wont do it, but J.P Imports will. Tell them what you want to do and show them these directions
1. Go into Audio System menu, and Divorce the current radio, then detach it.
2. Go to DICE menu, and change the VIN # of the car to the VIN # of the new radio you are puting in.
3. Plug the new radio in, go to Audio System menu, then Divorce it, and detach it.
4. Go to DICE menu, and change the VIN # back to the car's VIN #.
5. Attach the new radio, go to Audio System menu, then Marry the new stereo, and that's it!
When i first went to the shop they said you couldnt divorce the radio without the original car but i showed them the directions and they were willing to try it and it worked. they'll charge you $75 but that plus the cost of a used radio is way cheaper then the $500 or so a new radio would cost.
