No, I don't have any of the Rescue Kit goodies. Mostly a matter of not wanting to part with the cash.

I've been thinking about it for some time, though. My wife (an engineer who likes fast cars) doesn't like to drive my car because she says she has to wrestle with it to go in a straight line. She also complains about the Viggen's lack of ability in the snow compared to her '03 GTI VR6 (with traction control).

So based on that, I need SO3's for the summer and good winter tires and a rescue kit. But it's a tough sell to spend $2000 on parts and tires when a set of all seasons will get me from A to B just as well (but slower).

Prior to the Pirelli Neros, I've just use the SO3's all year round. Yes, that's crazy, but it worked if I was really super careful in the snow...
