Going to look at a 97 900 SE... any tips?

Hey all, I'm going this afternoon to look at a 1997 900 se turbo 5 speed coupe. Does anyone have some good tips on what to look for, what to avoid, etc?
The car has low mileage (72k) and a pretty low asking price... has a new clutch (hint of hard driving in the past, or average?) His price is such that it makes me wonder if something's wrong, what are some telltale signs to look for when looking to buy a ng900?
Also how are the ng900 five speeds, do they generally last pretty long? What are the weak points of the system that should get looked at? High-dollar items that are prone to going out? (DI cassette and the like)
I'd say I'm pretty mechanically inclined... would there be any reason to take it to an indy for a once-over, or can I do most of the checks myself?
Thanks in advance, I'm just a bit nervous because of the low price (about 1500 less than a 'good' on KBB).
