The only part you must have are the internal braces which are different from the base/SE to the Viggen. The SE mud guards won't fit if you use the Viggen sideskirts. There will be a few pieces missing but unless you park next to another Viggen, no one would notice...mostly it's the internal fender pieces that mate the bumper to the plastic covers under the front end. The rest is a bolt on operation. I swapped both my 2000 base 9-3 and a new 02 SE 9-3 to Viggen bumpers and sideskirts while stationed in Europe in 2002. Also, my SE exhaust didn't mate up to the cutout in the Viggen bumper and I had to have the muffler mounts modified.
Too bad as I still have the SE front and rear bumper skins (off my new 02 with less than 2000 miles on em) sitting here in my garage in Germany.
