found antifreeze seeping around the head gasket. Local mechanic says it needs a new one, but they won't know if there is any damage until they take it apart. Can Saab heads be machined? What would a new one cost if that were the case? Haven't found one on line.

It got up to the redline a few times, I backed off and it came down. It was 3 am in a bad place to stop, so I had to continue. Any advice?
