ACC not working . . . .

About a month ago, I cleaned the cabin temp sensor since the ticking/cricket sound has been getting on my nerves. So, that fixed the problem. Today, the ACC stopped working - fan was not blowing air. ACC is set in ECON mode. I did the recalibration, no error. I pulled the cabin temp sensor. I noticed that the fan blades were not turning/spinning by touching it or using the compressed air duster. Looks like the cabin temp sensor is shot. If so, would this cause the ACC not to work? Or, should I look somewhere else for the problem?
Thanks!
