VIGGEN and EBC Red Stuff Pads?

I know everyone either loves or hates EBC pads. My question is more about use of the RED STUFF pads of a daily (well, Spring Summer and Fall) driver, my 2002 Viggen Convert.
I recently aquired Cross Drilled Rotors and ordered the Green Stuff pads from Auto Parts Warehouse. I will make a seperate post about the idiots that work there, but, long story short, they sent the EBC Red Stuff pads by accident. These are listed as being for "spirited driving" and i would definately say that fits me, but I am concerned about the first stop in the morning, etc before these pads get warm.
Anyone use the RedStuff pads? Should I count myself lucky that I got an "uprated" pad for the same price as the green stuff pads? or am I riskng my car and life by using these?
Not looking for anyone to trash EBC pads here. I actually have had very good luck with them. Only looking for someone to give me advice on the Red Stuff pads, or someone who has a better recommendation ..and has used them on a Viggen...(frankly I could care less works on everyone's 9000 or 9-5)
