I have a 900set97 and she recently began to smoke when starting her up in the morning. You can find a used turbo with 6 month warranty for 420usd. The local saab guy said it would cost me 140usd for labor. So I considered it the cheapest way unless I did it all myself. I explored rebuilding it myself, kit cost 129usd. I think worse case it would take me about nine beers or eight hours to do everything since it would be my first time and wouldn't want to rush. Do a google search for "t25 turbo rebuild" and you'll find all the info you need on platonoff and saabperformanceparts site(s). I am waiting a little while a few weeks before deciding what i'll do.

900set97, sedan, 169k miles, auto, massachusetts.
