... passenger-side kick panel on the center console. Those have a tendancy to chafe. DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY BEFORE TRYING TO REPAIR THIS!!! Another Saabnet user nearly burned up his car while tinkering with that harness. Try adding some padding between the harness and the structural member, too. That'll prevent the chafing in the future - if that's the problem, of course.
