Well, mine is still in the shop, but the initial estimate is about 650, which is (believe it or not) cheaper than the head gasket job on my '95 Mustang (I seem to have a habit of gravitating toward model years with head gasket issues), but then again, Ford picked up that tab because they acknowledged that there was an issue with the Mustang in that MY. The radiator in my Mustang blew at the same time (it was towed into service) but they refused to pick up the radiator tab. If I could prove the Mustang head gasket failure cause the radiator to fail, they would have picked up the radiator, but, stating that there is no way to prove it unless I had a camera installed in the engine, which component failed first, they refused to pay for the radiator. I kid you not.
Keep in mind my work is being done by an indie, if you're out of warranty at a dealer you could be paying much more. Make sure you get a loaner.
