9-3 Totaled - Advice?

Hi folks,
My beloved '01 9-3 SE "Haj" was totaled in a nasty high speed accident on interstate 5 this week. He had 72k on the clock, 4mo remaining on the CPO warranty, and had been meticulously (more than a few have said obsessively) maintained. I waxed the car with my bare hands. I was looking forward to many more miles and years, but alas it was not to be. The good news is that in its final moments, the car allowed me to walk away from a very dangerous wreck.
In any case, I'm looking for some advice on where to go next. I'd like to find a comparable replacement, but I know that it will be very hard to find a used Saab in that kind of condition. I'm considering an upgrade - maybe a newer 9-5 CPO, but I'm planning to go back to school in the fall, and getting back into payments may not be the best idea.
The other question is what to do with Haj. The damage is exclusively to the rear end and roofline. The rest is pristine. 3 doors, front end, all the mechanical and interior. It will make one hell of a scrap car. Some have suggested that I keep it and either sell off the parts or use it for backup. Again though, I live in an apartment - no garage, no time for tinkering. Allstate has decided to total it, but they haven't made an offer yet.
Very appreciative to anyone in the community with experience/thoughts in the matter.
Cheers,
'Roo
