my friend's 2000 9-3 is idling rough 99% off the time he is driving it, in any gear and in PARK, it's an auto tranny. his engine light is on and he says that the only time it didn't idle rough was right after he got a jump start a few weeks ago, but he turned the car off and back on a little while later and it went back to rough idle. and when i say rough, i mean really rough, the whole car shakes and the revs are around 900. the A/C almost makes the car die. and just last night we were riding in it and it just decided to stall a couple of different times, the engine just quite mid-driving at like 50 mph the first time and like 20 mph the second time. i'm gonna check his vacuum hoses and plugs today, is there anything else i should look for or does anyone know what it might be. thanks in advance.
