Hi all:

My front 205/50-16 tires (BFG Traction T/A) are wearing on the extreme inside edge. It looks like someone took a grinder to them at a 45º angle. Meanwhile the outside edges of the tires are also wearing, but over a broader area (probably normal). I'm running the tires at 36-38 PSI to try counteract this, but without much luck as I just found one of the tires has worn through to the belt. When I first pointed out the wear a while ago to an independant SAAB mechanic, he said the alignment was in spec and the inner wear must have come from when the tires were on the back, but I know now for sure it's happening on the front. Has anyone else encountered such extreme wear? I don't want to buy new tires just to have them eaten quickly.
