Wandering could be worn struts but it could also be lower ball joints or tie rod end(s)to check the BJ's, Jack up front end and set on jack stands and remove wheels then "Load"the suspension by jacking under the control arm just enough to start compressing the spring but not so far as to lift the car off of the stands then using a pry bar check for any play in the joint. For the tie rod ends, have a helper rock the steering wheel back and forth slightly and look for any visible play in the ends.
