Still full from thanksgiving a day later! Had a nasty surprise on my new-to-me 1999 9-3SE. It was super wet on the rear passenger side floor and in the trunk rear corner (also passenger side).
I took out the trunk floor and side carpeting. There was a lot of wetness around the sunroof drain (poorly designed in my opinion, better to stick a copper pipe through that rubber diaphragm that gets (and yes) was clogged.
But that doesn't explain the water on the rear passenger floor does it? because there is a pretty big 'step' or valence around 2 inches high between the rear seats and the trunk. So I can't believe that water was getting over that hump and onto the passenger floor. I park flat anyway, so that's pretty much impossible.
Which leads me to suspect that this is actually 2 leaks. One from the sunroof drain which i just cleared and one from somewhere else, but where?
I pulled the side carpet out, and saw some older looking drip marks, not fresh at all, but one pillar piece was wet on the side facing the rear seats... i've taken two high res pictures and put numbered labels on them so if you can help you can refer to these number points to let me know where you think it's leaking from and what to do about it.
Thanks!
