Neutral Safety Switch?

I've had the no crank warm start problem with my automatic '03 9-3. I've done my share of searching on this very helpful website. When I suggested the NSS as the "problem" that needs to be fixed, the service guy said to try to start the car in neutral the next time the no start happens and if the car starts with no problems, then it is NOT the NSS. Well, it happened and I tried to start in neutral and still no start. So, this means the problem is NOT the NSS? Any other ideas? Starter, battery & ignition switch have all been replaced.
