My suggestion to you is to ensure your ABS ECU plug is clean & secured. You may have bumped it while performing your service.
I experienced an intermittent ABS issue on my 01 9-3 Viggen 84K miles. Brake, ABS & TCS (Traction Control System) lights illuminated on dash, Speedometer inoperative. Saab Dealer diagnosed it as ABS unit replacement and will cost $2800 + $200 for labor to replace part # 52 33 911 which is Hydraulic valve & ECU (Electronic Control Unit) combination unit. Discovered http://www.bba-reman.com (on Ebay too) will rebuild the ABS ECU for $140. You pull & ship, they Fix & return. Had my car smogged (San Diego, CA) this morning. Tech suggested cleaning electrical multi-pin plug to ABS ECU with a special cleaning fluid he had in stock (claims cost of $115 per 1 ounce bottle. Though, I may have misheard him). No Charge to me. Tech claims it fixes issue 30% of the time. Original issue was intermittent but hasn't recurred since plug cleaning.
