The plastic air intake on top of the engine has two plastic post that sits into two rubber grommets. This is easy to check by removing the intake hose, unclasp the metal clip that holds the plastic intake baffle near the front fire wall and lift-up. There are two rubber grommets that the plastic post go into. If you see the grommet, then check to make sure none of the plastic post were broken off. This is tough to tell, so just look for loose componants. If you don't have a mechanics stethoscope, you can use a length of tubing to listen for the location of the rattle. Good Luck!
