Check the voltage while the engine is running... should be 14V +/- a couple of tenths. If it is around 13V or less, its definatley the altinator.
Even if the battery tested good it could be bad, or on its way. Earlier this year I had a dead battery situation, jumped it and it tested ok under load. Figured I or a kid left a light on or had a short somewhere. Over the next month had two more dead battery situations... took it back, and it was bad. Tested and replaced by Sears no questions asked.
