Help is my turbo failing? Little smoke, oil light on @ Posted by paulcampagna [Email] (#987) [Profile/Gallery] (more from paulcampagna) on Fri, 4 Apr 2008 16:46:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
And my boost is limited my the APC. Car runs great otherwise, but when i get on it and hit the boost, it will buck like the APC is hiting the fuel cut-off. - It is blowing a little smoke on start-up and there seems to be a little bit of a noise from the turbo. - I might've already answered my own question, cause it sounds like to me the turbo bearing is worn causing oil to leak out to the exhaust and when the boost get to high, the turb either is getting stuck against the side of the housing and causing it to limit the boost like the fuel is getting cut off.... -
Am i retarded for even asking? Or could it be something else? - Car is a 1994 900se turbo with 172,000 miles .I always change the oil at 3,000 and have never had he turbo replaced in my posession. -65,000 miles....
Antother stupid question. - is it a garret t25 turbo? - is ther a different turbo that will work?????
thanks in advance for anyhelp.-
