I would borrow an OBDII scanner (I got one at Autozone...had to place a deposit on my credit card which was returned when I returned the scanner).

Repost the error codes and pls give more description/symptoms on the CEL issue, like rough idling, high idle, not reving past a certain rpm, etc. I would clear the codes with the scanner and wait and document the codes with the engine running again as when my vacuum hose popped of the throttle body to the Map sensor it eventually accumulated a series of codes which was quite confusing to say the least.

In the meantime, you should check that all of your vacuum hoses are in good condition and where they should be. I had a CEL issue which I fixed cheaply by taking the black plastic cover off of the throttle body (be careful as the two tabs closest to the motor/ignition cassette get brittle and can crack/break. Take a flashlight, even in daylight and shine it around the throttle body to make sure all of the hose are on, as there are quite a few rubber vacuum hoses coming off of the throttle body. Double check that one of them didn't pop off (like my problem...hose coming from the throttle body to the MAP sensor which caused the car to run horribly and not past 3000 rpm with no turbo boost)when driving to work on the freeway. I was lucky and just bought 10 feet of (5mm?) vacuum hose from a performance parts shop in town (Goodyear brand) very cheaply and replaced everything that I could get my hands on, what was left over can be used later for any of the windshield wiper hoses, so I read. Be careful as many of the fittings get very brittle with all that heat that the 2liter turbo puts out.
