Are you talking about missing pixels on the SID? If that's the case, then search the BB for a few solutions that may or may not work. If parts of the SID really are dim, you may have a burned out bulb. The bulbs are easily accessible once you get the SID out, which I've found is easiest if you pull out the radio and then push the SID out from behind.
