Replacing large hose to fuel tank - siphon question ->

That large hose to the fuel tank has apparently split - the one that goes directly from the tank, then up to the fuel fill hose. Dripping gas, and unfortunately I just filled the tank yesterday - fifteen gallons at about a million dollars a gallon.
So, question, which might be the dumbest question I've ever posted: Can I replace that hose without siphoning off all the gas that's in there? I would have thought that the filler hole/hose would be at the top of the tank, but it seriously looks like its at the bottom. I don't have a siphon, nor do I have 15 gallons of storage. I don't want to add to the cost of R/R this one.
I've got the rear end jacked up and the leaking seems to have slowed, and no, I'm not asking can I just do it really really quickly while the gas is pouring out, I'm asking if I remove that hose, will the gas pour out and thus do I have to siphon it off.
TIA,
Mike
