I recently purchased an '02 9-3 with 110,000 miles on it. It's a beautiful car but since I've had it (Sept 08), it is now Dec 11 08, ive needed a new transmission (under warranty) ... it just wouldn't accelerate when I was stopped at a red light, the passenger backseat window is "off the track" but needs a special part, the oil pressure gauge doesn't work, and NOW i have some sort of electrical problem. Does anyone know if it has anything to do with my broken power window? Basically, it seems to me that the car is shorting somewhere and either thinks its being broken into or just isn't completely connected. Sometimes the remote works, sometimes it doesn't (I had the battery replaced in that too). When it doesnt work, the car won't unlock unless done manually and then the dome lights will not light. When I put the key in the ignition, it usually doesn't start, and doesn't even turn over; it's not a dead battery sound, it doesn't do anything. Usually I get out, slam the door in the back with the broken window until I can see the dome light working (so i know there's power) and then I try to restart ... usually I have to do this a couple times. Just a few minutes ago when I did that and reopened the driver door, the alarm sounded. And the freakiest thing, when the car is "dead" i close the driver door to wait for it to regain power to lock it with the remote, and the radio/dash lights up and radio/cd/whatevers on PLAYS. ???

Each time the car FINALLY starts, the temperature control reads "0" and the dash resets (date Jan 1, time 12:00 am).

HELP!?? I dont even know if it's safe to drive!?
