Check to see if you are getting current at the switch. If you are then progress to the connections under the seat. If you have juice at the switch I would think that the cause of the heated mirror not working is unrelated. BUT, it would depend upon what activates the mirror to heat. I would assume the manual would tell when the heated mirrors activate.
The most common cause for the seat heater not working is a frayed wire in the seat pad. In my experience, it is because of a large dog exerting a considerable amount of pressure in a small area that weakens the wire in the pad. I would imagine that kneeling, leaning on your hand or other such action where a larger than normal force is exerted over a large area will have the same effect. As the wire begins to fray it heats up at the point of weakness and as the heat increases it gets to a point where it melts the wire insulation, you can smell it and the wire shorts out and voila--no more comfy heat.
The cure is either to replace the wicked expensive cushion, or as I have done take off the seat cover and you should be able to spot the point of failure by a small burn spot. You may have multiple spots so inspect them all. You can either splice in a wire or just splice the ends back together.
Test your connections before you put the cover back on.
If you don't have heated seats, you can read up on making heated clothing (for riding motorcycles) and with a switch you should be able to make your own. It's actually quite simple. The hard part is getting the seat covers off and on.
