Hello all,
I fixed the radiator cooling fan by replacing the old resistor with a new one following PMI's instructions. The fan blows the air towards the radiator and condenser; It also stays on all the time the engine is running and stops a few seconds after the engine is turned off. Even if I just turn the key to the On position, the fan also stays on a few seconds after I remove the key from the ignition.
1st question:
Is this the way it is supposed to work?
======================================================
Since the cooling fan was fixed I noticed that after 10 or 15 minutes of city traffic the SID indicates an outside temperature 20-25 degrees hotter than what it actually is, the A/C stops cooling too. From city traffic to highway speeds The SID temp decreases to normal outside temp after couple of minutes; the A/C works fine at this point. I also noticed that when I come to a stop light from a highway speed with the A/C on I hear a loud noise coming from under the hood on the driver's side like something is vibrating or hitting at high speed; that noise stops when I turn the A/C off. I've replaced the thermostat twice and use Saab coolant, so car is not overheating but I noticed that in between the front bumper and the A/C condenser is very hot.
2nd question
Any suggestions of what might need to be checked/fixed?

There is this long hose that one end is attached to the automatic transmission block, closer to the engine block, underneath the battery tray. That is the best description I can give about the location.
3rd question:
Anybody familiar with this that knows where the other end connects?
