shouldn't you be watching the turkey?
Make sure the ring stays in their grooves during installation, and be sure that the plastic legs are inside the alloy lip before hitting it home. Otherwise, the plastic legs bend and become flexible and the cap doesn't stay snug and will start looking for a new place to live.
If I remember correctly, there is one leg where the split in the ring is supposed to sit.
Also, when removing them pry up one side far enough to begin to work it off evenly instead of just popping it off. Those things are pricey, as you know so, and not the greatest design.
Oh, and if you ever have someone work on your tires/rims...double check they put them back on. I had one walk away and couldn't prove they didn't put it on or that they did put it on.
