More than the ECU. There's gotta be whole sections of the wiring harness that are different.
T-5 (NG900) has a AICV and normal throttle body. Does NOT have an air mass flow meter.
T-7 (2000+ model-year) has a motorized throttle body & doesn't have an AICV. It DOES have an air flow meter.
I never owned a T-5, so kind vague about all the other sensors. I have a feeling you'd be in for a whole bunch of wiring to make it work as a T-7 package.
