I was trolling craigslist ads, searching for Saabs of course, and came across this gem...

...and on and on.
Obviously my favorite part is that there are "NOT ALOT OF THEM MADE IN THE U.S." No kidding, cupcake. For the record this was posted in California, where you have to smog a used car to register it. So that gutted cat (which is something you are paying extra for) is really going to help you out.
I see a lot of ads with grammar and spelling that are this bad on craigslist, on the internet in general, and I have to wonder, what are we coming to? Has the education system in this country really failed so many people in such a drastic fashion?
I will say (thankfully and predictibly) that the general level of intelegent thought seems to be quite high on saabnet.com. Things are different on VWHub, some real knuckle draggers over there.
I remember my dad telling me back in the 1980's that Saab buyers were the highest educated of any car brand, with BMW coming in second. The average Saab buyer had completed five years of college or something like that. He bought one in 1984. And he has a PhD.
I guess our Viggen seller missed that memo....
