One of the first things you should check is whether your engine has the latest PCV upgrade #6. This is easily overlooked. I was fooled by a Dealer invoice that said "PCV system upgrade performed" when all they did was replace a few bits and pieces of the old, inadequate system.
Here is how you check it:
1. Remove the black cover that's around your oil filler cap. This will allow you to see better what you're looking for
2. Underneath the yellow oil filler cap is the black plastic oil filler neck. If you have PCV upgrade #6, there is a small hose coming out on the side of it.
If you don't have the upgrade (filler neck has no hose coming-out on its side), you should get it immediately - about $60 for the base kit plus some hoses from eeuroparts.com. That's providing your engine has not self destructed from oil sludge, yet.
As I wrote in my other post, it might be a good idea to have the oil pan dropped and everything inspected - particularly, if the maintenance history is unknown. Your oil pressure light is an indicator that something there is seriously wrong.
