Dead right Jerry! I got down to the last 17mm bolt but that one is completely inaccessible under the battery shelf.
I've decided to resort to jumping between the black and white wires at the connector (NSS side). This solution isn't failsafe (the car can be started in drive), but I'm old enough to remember when most cars could be started in drive...and we still didn't have accidents all the time!
