Finally, I managed to verify that knock sensor cable is moving freely and cable does not look damaged.

My next question:
Is there a way to test knock sensor?

If I decide to replace knock sensor, where can I buy one with a cable (most places sell it without cable)?

Is it ok to route cable differently then it is currently routed? I will never be able to wire it as it is done on the factory.
