My '96 900s runs like a champ unless the weather is above 80. It's almost guaranteed to die after driving for a half hour or more, stopping and parking it, then starting it up a few minutes later then it'll bog and die. it almost as though it's not getting fuel. I can get it to restart by cranking and pumping the gas pedal and barely keep it alive until it roars back to life and then it'll be ok for a while. The only thing I've ever experienced similar to this was an older carbed nissan that suffered from vapor lock. 2 days ago I drove 70 miles on the higway with no problems but then once I got off the highway and parked for 15 minutes. It started fine but then died a block away. 2-3 months ago I installed new plugs, wires, distributor cap & rotor and a fuel filter... I think I hear the engine ticking a little louder as well and was wondering if low oil levels, DI cassette or a fuel pump might be the culprit?
