Taking Saab Out Of Storage !!

I have a '98 SE that has been in storage for 3 years. I plan on taking the plugs out and squirting some penetrating oil or lube into the cylinders before turning the motor over to regain oil pressure before starting. My question concerns the DI cassette - as I plan on turning it over with the plugs out, how does one protect the DIC from damage. I'm thinking unhook the wiring harness and take it out completely. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. TIA, Craig
