HELP! Window Regulator power plug different than fact

Hello:
Recently ordered 2 rear power window regulators from a site sponsor (unfortunately, this is the FIRST TIME they screwed up my order--sent one for the 900 5door and one for 3 door!).
Anyway, the new units (once the correct ones were shipped) have a different power connector that the stock OEM unit. The stock units have the square "Saablike" connectors with the thing you pry with a screwdriver or like object to get the connector to disengage.
The new units require a power connector with two round cylinders (female) requiring a similarly shaped two-pronged cylindical male plug (provided). See link and click on enlarge to get the idea.
It looks as if I'll have to cut the factory cable and wire this new plug on the wires to use the regulators. My question is, which of the two wires is which in this system? Even though it's a DC motor, shouldn't the wires be properly polarized for proper operation? Does anyone have the wire code for the OEM plug?
Thanks in advance. Totally unexpected occurrence.
