My 2002 93 20 SE AC compressor is grumbling. Weve put a short belt on for the time being and Ive been reading up on the stories of putting a new bearing in the pulley rather than shelling out for a whole new / recon compressor.
Ive talked my indie garage into having a go at it but wanted to check up with any UK owners to find out if anyone has done this here and where they sourced the bearing from, and where they got the new one pressed in, and if its as easy on a RHD.
Ive established its a 35/50/20 rubber sealed double ball bearing and have found one at simplybearings.co.uk (I think) see link below.
