Gas mileage had gone down to 19mpg, and I finally found something wrong...
Under the intake tube, there are some plastic hoses with a larger round thingie (a check valve, maybe?). That thingie had its male part broken on one end, and the rest of it stayed in one of the plastic lines. But they were separated, and when the engine ran I could hear a sucking sound.
Now I wish I knew what this thing actually is, and what it's called. I checked the eEuroparts.com website and could not find it there.
Any ideas?
