But what you'd have to look into is if the wire harness is under the driver's seat. If not then you wouldn't be able to have the usual system. Though you might be able to rig it up just to lock/unlock the driver door.
Which would also lead me to believe that you wouldn't be able to use one from a 9-5.
The wiring for the alarm and remote system are so intertwined with the car that you really couldn't do it as simply as you would hope or as cheap.
Could install a push button starter. I think there are a couple of Web sites that do this for various cars. Still might want a kill switch or hidden switch. If my ignition switch breaks again I think I'm going to. Needs a special switch though. The Honda S2000 has a cool one.
I have an alarm ecm from a 1995 900 if you are interested and you have the harness. I also have a fuel door lock/unlock that if you want/need to rig something up it could do the physical motion of unlocking the door.
Sounds like you need something to do...
