94 turbo almost starts

hi I have a 94 900S turbo, 5 speed manual.
i was driving the car to work and it started to hesitate a bit, I could rev it up a bit and the hesitation would go away.
It wanted to stall at Stop lights, but by keeping it rev'd up a bit, it keep going.
As I pulled into my parking lot, it stalled and would not start again.
Since then I have replaced the DIC with a know good one (I have a 96 900, to swap parts off of), I then thought it was the fuel pump, so I cut a hole in the back seat. (I was going to swap it out with the other one, but could hear it running and when turning on the key the pressure builds and the pump turns off.) If I crank the car I hear the fuel pump running.
I then swapped out the CPS with a know good one.
Still same problem car turns over, sounds like it is almost going catch, but doesn't. The plugs are less then a year old. There is gas in the tank.
I am thinking of FPR next, but thought I would ask here first.
I don't have a fuel pressure gauge.
thanks for any help
