In my case the front left speaker will have little to no volume. Increasing the volume control will usually get the speaker working again, though only for a couple days.
I found that if I remove the radio, disconnect the speaker wire connector from the back of the radio and reinstall, the problem is fixed for several months. I have also tried using contact cleaner on the speaker wire connector which seems to help.
