Today i ended up changing the oil pump seal and o-ring..The seal was very dry, probably not leaking but ready to, and the o-ring was dry and brittle. As soon as i went to bend the o-ring, it split into pieces. I had no large snap ring pliers so i sacrificed a cheap set of channel lock pliers and made them). It worked very well for me and saved a bit of money. After 10 mins of idleing and a short 5 mile drive, we have zero seepage of oil. Hope she stays tight)). The job was easy for me especially due to all the help offered on this site. Thanks all
