The divorce and remarry process requires you have the VIN number from the source vehicle for head units and CD changers. I had 2 9-3s this spring and switched the head units by the divorce and remarry. At that time I had my CD changer off at Saab Radio for overhaul. I unexpectedly sold the car that had sourced the CD changer without thinking. When the changer came back its source car was gone. When I plugged the changer in my new car it was locked out. I couldn't find an Anders equivalent locally so stopped at the Syracuse Saab dealer while on a road trip. I gave them the vin # for the car that had sourced the changer. With that vin # they married the changer to the new car in less than 5 minutes.
