I did it years ago with my Chevy X11, using those damn metal ramps.
Just after that, my dad made me the best ramps ...
he cut 4 lengths of 2X12 into lengths: 3', 2', 1' and a 1" stop. Aligning up the ends of all, and pinning them together, yielded not only a nice, gradual incline but steps, so I know exactly how far up I am. No more floor and and jam the brakes at the top.
